Free Leasehold corruption.

Free leasehold corruption.

Congratulations to the present Chief Minister of M.P. BJP have put one more morass feather of corruption in his cap. Everywhere there is corruption, corruption and corruption. There is no end to corruption from lower level to top level. The Chief Minister announces schemes and several promises are made to public but he has not a single paisa in the exchequer to complete his announcements and schemes. It has no money to pay off the salaries, allowances and other arrears bills, medical reimbursement bills and other bills for different purposes. It has become a bankrupt government. Take any department of the government and one will find that it is smeared with corruption. His secretaries are so corrupt that hundreds of corers of rupees are seized from them but no strong stapes were taken against them. Dr Yogi Raj Sharma is another challenge to him who also had a corruption history of crorers of rupees but Dig Vijay Singh government equally loved him. . A Clark from Ujjain treasury is alleged to have involvement of not less than 3 crorers of rupees.
And now corruption on official level. The government has taken a decision for free leasehold land scheme. In this scheme those who holds land from government on lease will become absolute owners of property if they pay off 10years of lease rent in total. Remember that the lease rent is always nominal. I request the government that please give me a plot of 30x40 on any lease rent and I will pay the lease rent for 20 years in lump sum. Will government do so? Please intimate me and I will remit the sum. This is most artistic way of corruption. Wonderfully the Congress and other opposition parties have not opposed the scheme. This means that all political parries and politicians are involved in the morass of the scheme and they want to mint money out of it.

No Bhushan dear Bhushan.

No Bhushan dear Bhushan!

No body is shocked with the remarks in the statement of Shanti Bhushan given to press with reference to judicial corruption. Apart from the case pending in the S.C. and without any reason for me to comment on it some other facts required to be brought so that wrong message may not go to the public in general.
For some reason or other he was Law Minister in the NDA government during period of 2000-’04. Being a Law Minister he must have come across files of appointment of judges including those of Chief Justices of S.C. and H.Cs. People are equally entitled to know in how many cases he put objections for such appointments saying that the judges who were recommended to be appointed as Chief Justices and Judges of the H.Cs. and S.C. did not find to be honest and refused to recommend their names It should also be made public as to in how many cases the S.C. rejected such objections and government had to accept the recommendations of the S.C. In fact there is no constraint on the part of the government to appoint any such person as judge who appears to be corrupt on face of the record though the S.C. might have recommended his name.
He says that few judges were definitely honest few were definitely corrupt and was unable to estimate about 4 judges. Let us know how many ministers in the cabinet of Atal Bihari Bajpai, in which Shanti Bhushan was also cabinet Minister were absolutely corrupt, absolutely honest and those of whom he could not estimate about their character as to honesty.
Shanti Bhushan hails from U.P. and if one wants to know about what the standard of the Bar Associations is should read the book entitled as ‘The other side of the judiciary’ written by Justice (retd.) S.S. Sodhi of S.C. who had been the Chief Justice of Allhbad High Court. The picture will be very clear. In one incident the advocates passed a resolution for transfer of some High Court Judges and in reshuffle of the different judges from different High courts 11 judges were transferred from Allahbad High Court. Again the advocates started agitation not to transfer them. The advocate community plays a dual policy. This community does not like the intolerance of the judges but advocates assume the ‘right’ to be arrogant and to miss behaves with the judges.
Let us know why Shanti Bhushan kept mum for so many years to disclose this fact. Whether he was busy in analyzing the facts and figures of the corruption of the judges or did he chose the said occasion for some ulterior purpose and gave a statement before the press? Why he met the press and stated some facts of the case which is pending before the S.C.In fact he undermined the authority of Bar and Bench both when he said that ‘he be suitably punished for this contempt.’ He has by no means raised the prestige of the Bar and Bench. In fact it was a derogatory statement by him that too when he had been the Union Law Minister and comes from Bar and it is to be remembered that 100 percent Chief Justices are appointed from the advocates stuff. Therefore he should introspect himself and the members of the Bar also.
